As domestic abuse victim advocates, our primary responsibility is to provide support, guidance, and resources to those impacted by abuse. We aim to help victims regain control of their lives and rebuild in a safe environment. There are 2 things that are the most important in regards to this work: First, advocates should always maintain the utmost of confidentiality, and second, advocates should never make a decision for a victim, but instead, be there to help walk with the vi
